class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Children of Seafarers Attending a Vocational or Tertiary Institution<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-06f20fa elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"06f20fa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Welfare Committee has reviewed its educational scheme since <strong>1st October 2025.<\/strong><\/p><p>The educational scheme is meant for the <strong>dependent children of active and retired seafarers<\/strong> who are attending a vocational or tertiary educational institution on a full time or part time basis.<\/p><p>A monthly stipend will be paid to students as follows: &#8211;<\/p><p><strong>Tertiary Institutions:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Full time <strong>Rs 4,000<\/strong><\/li><li>Part time <strong>Rs 2,000<\/strong><\/li><li>Vocational: <strong>Rs 1,200<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-92cf13c elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"92cf13c\" class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol><li>The seafarer should be on the registered list of active and retired seamen.<\/li><li>The children of seafarer should already have obtained admission in an MQA, IVTB approved or recognized educational institution.<\/li><li>The duration of the course, whether part time or full time, should at least be 6 months.<\/li><li>The age limit of the dependent children is 25 years.<\/li><li>The dependent should not be drawing any remuneration.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element
