Birthday Gift for seafarers and Spouse
The Welfare Committee has reviewed its Birthday Gift Scheme for seafarers and their spouse. A sum of Rs 12,000 will be paid as gift to every registered seafarer and Rs 10,000 will be paid as gift to every registered seafarer ‘s spouse who will reach 60th birthday or has celebrated his 60th birthday since 1st October 2025 and payment as per the following table will apply:
