One Off Computer Grant Scheme

The Welfare Committee has decided to include a Computer Scheme with effect from 1st July 2023.

This scheme is meant for both the active and registered retired seafarers. Under this scheme the beneficiary will receive a one – off refund up to a maximum amount of Rs 20,000 of cost incurred for the purchase of a desktop computer or a laptop.

Criteria: –

  1. The Seafarer must be a registered active or retired seafarer at the SWF.
  2. The beneficiary should not be covered under any similar scheme elsewhere.
